13 - METAMORPHOSIS

This is a card of change. In the eternal wheel of life/death/rebirth, death is just a valley, a transition, a shift from one moment to the next. It is the arrow seemingly going backwards but it is only because when the archer releases it, it will reach the stars! Change hurts, and it is a very vulnerable time so be tender. You must become aware of how your behavior and emotional responses are sparked. It is the time to learn to develop the ability to process and regulate your emotional states and your memory. The lesson here is to shift from a reactive fight or flight response, to more measured consciousness. But know that this shift brings growth, fills us with renewed energy and life. How can you open yourself to changes? What are things you want to change? What are things you don't? What are things that need or must change and you aren't letting? What are things you want to change but shouldn't in the big scheme of things?
